Devin
Devin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Madonna University, as well as a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration (HEA). She has had the opportunity to combine both degrees in her role as the Graduate Assistant/Coordinator of Madonna University’s Performing Arts Department, where she gained extensive experience both behind the scenes and in performance production. Her diverse background has made her a versatile artist and educator.
While Devin loves to dance and perform on stage, her true passion lies in teaching and choreographing. She has experience teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, pom, tap, and musical theatre. She has also had the pleasure of working with Janet Jackson’s renowned dancers, “The Kidz,” further expanding her professional training and industry experience.
Devin has choreographed for The Dance Academy’s Competitive Team, MUSE Dance Ensemble, and Madonna University’s Competitive Dance Team, where she also served as Captain. In addition, she has created numerous group routines and solos. She also had the pleasure of serving as an assistant coach for the PHHS Thunderhawk Dance Team. Most recently, Devin began dancing with Prowler Spirit, the professional dance team of the FPHL Port Huron Prowlers, and looks forward to many more exciting seasons.
