Local Parades

Our dancers have a chance to perform in two Port Huron parades. One in the summer time and the other in the winter time. Dancers over the age of 5 yrs. typically can make it through the parade with no issues. Dancers will need white tennis shoes, white socks, the dance academy tank top along with our green shorts, gold pom-poms and hair in a ponytail. See the front desk if you need the top, shorts, or
pom-poms.

Rotary International Day Parade

Date : July 9th

The day of the parade we will meet at Miller Maytag appliance store on Pine Grove Avenue, at 5:30PM, from there we will take you to our lineup. We will not know what number we are until we check in. Parade leaves at 6:30PM.

Dancers under the age of 5, who would like to participate — Please leave your name at the desk for us to add you to the list of float riders.
Float riders will typically wear their costumes with comfortable shoes, one parent is allowed to ride with dancer.

  • Please note that parents are not allowed to walk with our group in the parade, but you are more than welcome to walk along the sidewalk. We always recommend our parents to sit at the very end of the parade, on the very last turn, off the main street to grab your dancer. (That way they can sit with you and enjoy the rest of the parade)
Parade outfits are on a first come first serve basis.
