For more than 31 years, Donna has proudly owned and operated The Dance Academy, creating a place where dancers of all ages can learn, grow, and shine. What began as just a dream has grown into one of the area’s most beloved dance studios, welcoming over 600 dancers each year from throughout the Blue Water Area.

Donna believes that dance is about so much more than steps and technique. Her mission has always been to build confidence, inspire friendships, teach dedication, and help every dancer discover the joy of performing. Whether a student dances for one season or many years, she wants each child to feel valued, encouraged, and proud of their accomplishments.

Donna knows her dancers all by name and takes a genuine interest in their lives, Donna has built The Dance Academy on the belief that every dancer deserves to feel special. Together with her husband, Charlie, (of 44 years) she has worked to provide a beautiful, welcoming facility where families can feel at home and dancers can create memories that last a lifetime.

Each year, Donna’s greatest joy is watching dancers take the stage with confidence, knowing that the lessons learned inside the studio extend far beyond dance. She is honored by the trust families place in The Dance Academy and remains committed to providing a positive, inspiring experience for generations of dancers to come.
