Covid-19
In March 2020 we were shut down unexpectedly, thinking it was just going to be for a couple of weeks. Boy, were we surprised. The weather was cold, and it rained the entire time for both April and May. But as soon as June 1 hit, we were outside with our plan in place. We developed a plan to have outside practice all with social distancing in account. We were not going to let Covid-19 stop us from dancing and having the most beautiful recital.
Finally, on the weekend of June 27th we had the most beautiful outdoor recital. It was held at Goodells County Park over a three-day span.
After recital, additional summer classes were offered free of charge for our 2019-2020 dancers to make up for lost classes.
Going Forward
We are taking as many precautions as we can. The floors will be sanitized daily by our maintenance personnel. After each class, our teachers/assistants will be wiping down ballet barres and handles.
